Refund and cancellation policy
Every Happily Us book is painted and printed just for your family. Here's how changes, cancellations and refunds work.
Before your book prints
You'll see every page before anything is printed. If a name, the dedication or anything else needs fixing, tell us on your proof page and we'll make the change and send you a fresh proof.
You can cancel for a full refund any time before your book is approved for printing. Your book is approved when you tap Approve on your proof, or when your proof deadline passes and we print it as shown so it arrives in time.
After your book prints
Because every book is one of a kind, we can't accept returns or give refunds for a change of mind once your book has been approved for printing.
If something is wrong with your book
If your book arrives damaged, has a printing defect, or doesn't match the proof you approved, email us at hello@gethappilyus.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the problem. We'll reprint it free or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.
Lost, stolen or damaged in the mail
If you added Package Protection at checkout, we'll reprint and resend your order free if it's lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Email us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. Without Package Protection, we'll help you file a claim with the carrier.
Digital edition
The digital edition is delivered when your book is approved, so it can't be refunded on its own after delivery.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.

Shipping policy
Where we ship
We currently ship within the United States.
How your order moves
After you order, we paint your whole book and email you a proof to look through. Once it's approved (when you tap Approve, or when your proof deadline passes), it goes straight to our printer in the USA.
Shipping options
Standard shipping: $5.99, free on hardcover orders and on any order of $44 or more. Most orders arrive in 8 to 11 business days, once you approve your proof.
Holiday rush: $34.99. Your book ships 2-day. Most rush orders arrive in 6 to 7 business days.
Holiday overnight: $44.99. Your book goes on our printer's fastest line and ships overnight. Most overnight orders arrive in 4 to 5 business days.
Delivery times are in business days, counted from the first business day after you order, and include your proof as long as you approve it within a day.
Christmas delivery
To arrive before Christmas, order by December 8 with standard shipping, by December 14 with Holiday rush, or by December 16 with Holiday overnight. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, because carriers can be delayed during the holidays.
Hanukkah delivery
To arrive by the first night of Hanukkah (Friday, December 4), order by November 18 with standard shipping, by November 24 with Holiday rush, or by November 25 with Holiday overnight. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, because carriers can be delayed during the holidays.
Gift copies
Gift copies mailed to other homes always ship by standard shipping, each in its own package. You add their addresses when you approve your proof.
Tracking
We email you tracking as soon as your order ships.
Address problems
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package comes back because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we'll reship it once you confirm the right address. Reshipping costs the shipping charge for your order.

Terms of service
These terms apply when you use gethappilyus.com or buy from Happily Us, which is operated by Dulosis AI LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By making a preview or placing an order, you agree to them.
Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old to make a preview or place an order.
Your photos
When you upload photos, you confirm that you have the right to use them, and that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child pictured, or have that parent's or guardian's permission.
You give us permission to use your photos only to make your preview and your book. Our service providers (for illustration, printing and email) process them for that purpose only. We never sell your photos and never use them in our advertising without your written permission.
Photos uploaded for a free preview are deleted after 30 days if you don't order. For orders, we keep your photos and artwork so we can fix or reprint your book. You can ask us to delete them at any time by emailing hello@gethappilyus.com.
We may refuse any photo or order that is unlawful, offensive, or that we don't have the right to print.
Your book
Your book is an illustrated storybook, painted by our artwork process from your photos. Each person is drawn as a storybook character, so the result is a painted likeness, not a photograph. That's why you see every page before it prints and can ask for fixes.
The story, illustrations and design belong to Happily Us. Your book is for your family's personal use, and you may not resell or commercially reproduce it.
Orders and prices
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change. If we can't fulfill an order, we'll refund it in full.
Cancellations, returns and refunds are covered by our refund policy. Shipping is covered by our shipping policy.
Emails
We email you about your order and proof. If you make a free preview, we may send up to two reminders about it, and every reminder has an unsubscribe link.
Limits of our responsibility
Our site and books are provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted when you place your order applies to that order.

Privacy policy
This explains what Happily Us (Dulosis AI LLC) collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
The photos, names and ages you enter to make a preview; your email address; and, when you order, your order, shipping and contact details through our checkout. We also collect basic information about how you use our site, such as pages visited and the device and browser you use.
How we use it
To paint your preview and your book, send your preview, proof and order emails, print and ship your order, answer your questions, prevent abuse, and, only if you agree, send you occasional emails about Happily Us. You can unsubscribe from those at any time.
Who helps us
We share information only with the service providers that run our business, for those purposes: Google (painting and checking the artwork), Cloudflare (website and storage), Shopify (checkout and payments), RPI Print (printing and shipping), Resend (email), Meta (measuring our ads, see below) and Microsoft (Clarity, which shows us how visitors use our site). We don't sell your photos or your personal information for money.
Advertising and cookies
We use the Meta Pixel to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. It records actions such as viewing a page, making a preview or starting checkout. It never receives your photos, names or the names of your children. Under some state privacy laws, this kind of advertising counts as "sharing" personal information, and you can opt out below. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our site, through heatmaps and recordings of clicks, taps and scrolling, so we can make it easier to use. Your photos, your painted preview and anything you type in the photo builder are masked, so Clarity never receives them. Clarity uses cookies, and Microsoft handles this data under its privacy statement. Clarity is off when you opt out below or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
Your privacy choices
Advertising measurement is on for this browser.
Children
Our site is for adults. Information about children is entered by their parent, guardian or someone with their permission, and we use it only to make the book.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, including your photos, by emailing hello@gethappilyus.com. We'll answer within 30 days. How long we keep photos is explained under "Your photos" in our terms.
